The Third Dimension, a juried sculpture competition and exhibition, features three-dimensional artwork created in a wide variety of media such as metal, wood and clay; as well as a variety of forms like wall hangings, freestanding pieces, and jewelry. The juror for the exhibition is Sharon Sommers, M.A., an internationally known sculptor. Sommers celebrates her love of animals in her bronze sculptures of wildlife and has work in the Detroit Zoo, the Detroit Historical Museum and Frederik Meijer Sculpture Gardens, as well as many private collections.
